Ensemble bedhead & matching side tablesDesigned specifically for a customer who adored the below coffee table and hall table.
This beautiful bed head is cut from a single sheet of 3mm mild steel and folded to so that the design wraps around the sides. Topped with pieces of reclaimed Oregon supplied but the customer. The mild steel has been brushed back and given a coat of clear minimise rusting whilst giving it a subtle gloss finish. Coffee tableThe Steel sheet of the table is a copy of a matching Privacy screen also created. The basic rose cut out design of the base ads an element of softness to the strong cold feeling of steel.
The rustic timber that makes the table top once formed part of the sheep yards that stood on the Family Farm where I grew up. The lanolin can still be felt as you run your fingers along the timber grain. The timber is set into the steel frame rather than sitting on top giving it a unique looking finish. The colour of the steel as pictures is perfect to compliment the timber. Simply spray a clear rust guard on the steel to stop it from rusting with age. This is a narrow but long hall table. the tember overlaps the edges of the hard bare mild steel giving it a classy finish.
